was born on July 23, 1974, in
Sverdlovsk, USSR.
He graduated from the Urals State Academy of Architecture
and Arts in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He has lived and worked in Prague, Czech Republic, for last twelve years. |

First place in Sport category of the Russian national competition
of the Foundation of Photojournalism Development FRF 2009 Award (2010). Finalist of the Russian national photo award Best Photographer (2010). Finalist of the international competition Wildlife Photographer of the Year (2009). Special Jury Prize and Audience Sympathy Prize of the Russian national competition of wildlife photographers 'Golden Turtle' (2009). Second prize winner of the annual competition of the National Wildlife Federation in USA (2008). Participant of the annual exhibition of the best photographs of the year 'Czech Press Photo' (2007). Member of the Union of Journalists of Russia. |
